About the Artist
For over 50 years, my artistic life has been an ongoing experiment with form, texture, and visual
storytelling. Working from my studio in Sacramento, California, my multi-disciplinary practice
spans printmaking, drawing, mixed media, and painting. I use these traditional mediums to
capture delicate shifts in perspective, balance, and human connection—creating timeless pieces
designed to bring depth, history, and contemplative beauty into private spaces.
My creative perspective is shaped by a lifetime of immersion in fine art. After completing my
B.S. in Art Education at Southern Connecticut State University, I moved to California where I
earned my M.A. in Art from California State University, Sacramento. For decades, I balanced my
personal studio practice with a deep commitment to teaching, guiding emerging artists as a
prominent art instructor at premier institutions across Northern California, including American
River College, UC Davis, and the San Francisco Art Institute. Teaching allowed me to share
aesthetic ideas every day, a discipline that directly fueled the clarity, depth, and technical
precision of my own work.
My artwork has been widely exhibited across California, receiving distinctions at the California
State Fair and being showcased in exhibitions at the Crocker-Kingsley, local universities, and
various art galleries. Today, my work is held in numerous private collections, and I remain an
active participant in the Northern California artistic community as an Art Instructor and Docent
at the Crocker Art Museum.
Whether you are a seasoned collector or discovering my work for the first time, I invite you to
bring a piece of this 50-year legacy into your own home.
